We chose moire black for our white house and love it. We have black metal shed roofs on the front of the house and the shingles and metal roof both look great. Its gives you the color scheme you need and the charcoal look without having a black roof. The moire black is lighter than the charcoal.

I would advise the ho to go to a supplier and look at both shingles outside in the yard to compare. We are happy to install other brands upon client request. It s the one i choose. I have not noticed any blue tint whatsoever just a deep black but with enough texture definition that it doesn t look like a tar paper roof. Certainteed landmark s moire black is a striking color. The roofs seen here are an architectural style as opposed to 3 tab shingles.
