Its a pig of a job to do. Hi this sounds like the fuse has blown for the central locking due to a hi amp draw from a fault lock depending on the country that you are in you will need to find the fuse for the central locking for european cars the fuse will be 57 or 72 it will be a 15amp fuse that will nead to be changed to a yellow 20 amp fuse once the blown fuse is replaced insert the romote key in its slot and turn the ignition on then remove the key open and close the drivers door and the central. There are 2 levers. If you have the remote get it programed if it doesn t work as every mondeo that ive had that has your problem works fine off the remote.

If that fails the latch is busted. So you pull the door card inside door covering and look at both locks the inside pull its it working. One inside and one outside. Just google how to reprogram your mondeo remote.

Then look at the key lock cylinder.
