If you need a roof to extend from the house to an outbuilding for some reason but without supports down its length connect.

The workaround is to place them then use sims 3 cam and zoom in close in cutaway. Start with the walls of your barn then go up a level and add another set of walls but make this set one space in along the sides. Just add a piece of wall or a column where each corner will be and you should then be able to place the roof. You must work with the wall to find that height again.

Add a little trim work and your done. I m not terribly concerned about it. That above is the problem i m having. The other problem is a message that says can t intersect other objects this one is because something is getting in the way.
